Control over your data
Delete your Aule account
You can delete your Aule account and the data associated with it at any time, directly from the app or by email.
From the Aule app
Sign in, open the account menu, then choose “Deactivate or delete account” and “Delete account”. Once you confirm, the deletion is immediate and permanent: you are signed out and the account no longer exists. You can also choose “Deactivate”: access is suspended on all your devices without anything being erased, and you can ask for reactivation by email at contact@aule.fr.
From the website
Signed in to your account on aule.fr, open the account settings: you can deactivate or delete your account there after confirmation.
When direct deletion is refused
An account linked to an Aule Pro space (agent, driver) or the sole administrator of a network cannot be closed from the app: contact your network, or write to us so that we can arrange the next steps with it.
Send your request by email
If you can no longer sign in, write from the address linked to your account, with “Delete my Aule account” in the subject line. Never send your password. Send the request to contact@aule.fr.
Verification and timeframe
Deletion from the app or the website is immediate. For a request by email, Aule checks that the request does come from the account holder, then processes it as soon as possible and within one month at the latest, except in the case of a complex request or a specific legal obligation.
Data deleted
The account, the profile (first and last name, phone number, address, date of birth, gender), the profile photo, saved places, notification tokens, synchronised favourites and other data directly linked to the account are deleted. Contributions already published may be anonymised where they need to remain understandable in a public thread. Raw location coordinates are automatically purged within fifteen minutes.
Limited retention
Certain information may be kept only where required by law or to prevent fraud and ensure the security of the service. It is then isolated, limited to what is strictly necessary and deleted at the end of the applicable period.
