Cookies
Aule activates no optional tracker before you consent. This page describes what is stored, why, and how to change your choice at any time.
Your choice and how long it lasts
A banner is shown to you on your first visit: accept, refuse and customise are offered on an equal footing, with no pre-ticked box. Until a choice has been made, no optional tracker is activated. Your decision is kept on your device for six months, together with its date, and you are then asked again. The “Manage cookies” link, in the footer of every page, reopens the panel: withdrawing your consent is as easy as giving it.
Strictly necessary cookies
Authentication cookies maintain a secure session in the signed-in areas. They are essential to the service requested and do not require prior consent. They last only for the session or for the sign-in period chosen.
Local preferences
The theme, certain interface settings, your cookie choice and your geolocation choice are stored in the browser’s local storage. They remain on your device until they are deleted or replaced by a new choice, and are never passed on to a third party.
Audience measurement and performance
This category, disabled by default, covers page speed and smoothness indicators (Web Vitals). They are sent to our own collection point to identify slow screens, never to an advertising network. If you refuse it, none of these measurements is sent.
Error reports
When a JavaScript error occurs, a technical report (page concerned, message, stack trace, browser) is sent in order to fix the incident and detect abuse. This report writes nothing to your device, contains no advertising identifier and is based on our legitimate interest in maintaining a stable and secure service: it therefore remains active regardless of your choice regarding audience measurement.
Advertising
Aule places no advertising cookies, carries out no profiling for commercial purposes and resells no data. Should this change, this page would be updated and your consent would be obtained beforehand.
External services
The map, weather and geocoding rely on external services that may receive technical information such as your IP address or the area requested. Aule does not pass on any advertising identifier to them.
Managing or deleting data
Beyond the “Manage cookies” panel, you can clear cookies and local data from your browser settings, block non-essential storage and withdraw geolocation permission at any time. Sign-in and certain preferences will then have to be set up again.
